Quality under control
Industrial drying of polymers has to be supported by appropriate measuring equipment
in order to monitor quality-relevant parameters of the process, in particular dew point and residual moisture.
A dew point meter is used for determining the dew point of process air in a drying system.
A residual moisture meter is applied to take routine control samples of the granulated material in order to check
if the residual moisture tolerance directly before processing is meeting the specification.
digicolor measuring equipment facilitates control and documentation of these parameters.
1. Residual moisture meter D-FM-1
-Measuring of smallest residual moisture values in granulated polymer material.
-Determination of the initial moisture after delivery and during material storage
-Determination of the residual moisture after drying of the granulated material
-Determination of the residual moisture directly befor processing of the material
-Measurement precision: a few ppm
-Menu-driven operating software tool for Windows
-Data output via HTML, easy data export to Office software tools
-Automatic programme sequence and easy documentation of results
-Serial interface RS 232 C or USB interface
2. Measurement of dewpoint DRYCAP
-Dew point determination of all kinds of dryers and drying systems
-Regular spot-check of dryers used in a production
-Permanent control of dryers and drying systems
-Documentation of measuring results
-Easy integration into the drying process
-Easy installation and usage for regular spot-checks
